Timber Shipping/Collection

Smaller orders, max of 1.9m long can go by courier and can be sent directly to your house or building site - flat rate of $30

Larger orders and packets - 2m long and over

Wellington Region: Collection from our Lower Hutt store is available Mon-Friday, 8am-4pm.

Nationwide: We will ship to your local Mainstream Depot

Freight rates to your closest Mainstream Depot will be shown when you enter your address and add the desired timber quantity to your cart.

Coating Products Shipping

Wellington: Collection from our Lower Hutt store is available Mon-Friday, 8am-4pm.

Nationwide: Flat rate of $12 for Urban addresses, $25 for Rural addresses.

We can ship Rubio Monocoat products within New Zealand or the Pacific Islands. There are restrictions on shipping some New Zealand native timber products out of New Zealand, but most other items can be shipped anywhere in the world.

Can I pick up?

Yes, you can pick up from our warehouse in Lower Hutt, or from a freight depot throughout New Zealand. However, you will still need to order online and we will get your order ready for you and let you know when it is ready.

How long does it take from order?

This depends on the product. Please see the estimated delivery time frame on each product page.

What if I get the wrong item?

If we've made a mistake, or there's something wrong with what we've sent you, we'll correct it, which will include getting the correct product out to you, or providing a refund, and may include us arranging to get the incorrect product back to us (we may need some help from you in getting it picked up). If you've ordered an incorrect product being able to return it will depend on what it is, and whether we can return it to our stock.

I'm buying a lumpy item, like a packet of floorboards or decking, how do I collect from the freight depot?

You'll need a trailer or vehicle that is suitable to carry what you've ordered. Ideally the vehicle will be suitable for the carrier to lift on to with their forklift, alternatively you may need to hand-load the boards.
